
Fiona Ballard grew up in Hampshire, Dorset and Malaysia before combining motherhood with a successful NHS career. The creative writing journey began in 2019 with a gift of an entry for a short story competition. Five books later...

Fiona belongs to the Portsmouth Authors Collective an eclectic mix of local authors. The Collective offers training, and support in addition to promotional & sales events.
Life experiences have contributed significantly to the depth and substance of her writing. In between writing stories, she enjoys travelling, swimming, cookery, dog walking, and singing in a local community choir.
